The women who keep the village going

In many of China’s ethnic minority communities, women play an essential role in both the household and agricultural life. They cook, farm, raise children, and take care of the family. Even in old age, many remain actively involved in physical work while continuing to pass down their knowledge, skills, and wisdom to younger generations.
